Curie Preschool — Herndon
Curie Preschool's Herndon campus provides a nurturing, engaging learning environment for children from 18 months through Kindergarten. Our programs are built around Curie's own STEAM++ Curriculum and strengthened by research-based early childhood resources and practices, including STREAMin³ in applicable Early Preschool, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms.

A Community in Herndon
Curie Preschool has served Northern Virginia families since 2013, and our Herndon campus opened in 2016. The Herndon campus provides welcoming classrooms with age-appropriate learning centers, spaces for hands-on exploration, books and literacy materials, art and creative materials, building and manipulatives, and indoor and outdoor learning experiences.
Since opening, Herndon has grown into a close-knit community of families who share a belief that early childhood education should be joyful, engaging, and deeply personal. It is a place where children are known by name, teachers invest for the long term, and families feel genuinely at home.

Our Herndon campus was selected for Fairfax County's Creative Curriculum Initiative. Teachers have completed training, materials have been received, and Creative Curriculum resources are now being incorporated into our toddler and Early Preschool program.

Daily experiences vary by age group, classroom, and schedule option and may include purposeful learning centers, literacy, mathematics, science and inquiry, art, music and movement, outdoor/gross-motor activity, meals and snacks as applicable, rest for applicable Full-Day children, STEAM++ curriculum experiences, and child choice.
Families provide a packed lunch. An optional snack program is available at the Herndon campus for an additional fee. Our campus maintains a nut-free environment.

Virginia Child Care Subsidy Program
The Herndon campus participates in the Virginia Child Care Subsidy Program. Eligible families may be able to use approved subsidy benefits toward qualifying care. Eligibility and benefit determinations are made through the applicable state and local program processes. Contact us to learn more.
