A Community in Herndon
The Herndon campus opened in 2016 as Curie's second location, bringing the same STEAM++ approach that launched in South Riding to families across Northern Virginia. Our purpose-built classrooms are designed for hands-on learning, with dedicated STEAM++ labs, an art studio, and generous outdoor play spaces.
Since opening, Herndon has grown into a close-knit community of families who share a belief that early childhood education should be joyful, rigorous, and deeply personal. It is a place where children are known by name, teachers invest for the long term, and families feel genuinely at home.

Middle States Association — Accreditation Candidate
Curie Preschool is an official candidate for accreditation with the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools at both campuses, a voluntary process evaluating schools against national standards for educational quality and continuous improvement.
Virginia Quality Birth to Five (VQB5)
Both campuses participate in VQB5, Virginia's statewide quality measurement and improvement system for early childhood programs, in which trained observers assess teacher-child interactions and curriculum quality.
Virginia Child Care Subsidy Program
