Our Mission
Inspiring a Love of Learning
At Curie Preschool, we are inspired by the legacy of Marie Curie — a pioneer who showed the world that curiosity, perseverance, and a love of discovery can change everything.
We designed our STEAM++ curriculum to nurture those same qualities in children from 18 months through Kindergarten. Every activity, every classroom, every interaction is intentional — built to spark wonder and build confidence.
Our facilities across our South Riding and Herndon campuses provide the perfect environment for children to explore, create, and grow — surrounded by educators who genuinely love what they do.
Thirteen Years, Two Campuses
Curie Preschool opened in South Riding in 2013 with a simple belief: every child is a natural scientist, artist, and explorer. Families told other families, and in 2016 we opened a second campus in Herndon. Thirteen years later, we have had the privilege of serving over 1,000 families across both campuses — and we continue to grow, welcoming children from 18 months through Kindergarten.
You may know us by our former name, The Madame Curie School of Science & Technology. We simplified our name to Curie Preschool — same school, same dedicated team, same approach to learning that families have trusted since 2013.
